Firepit Nights at Pittwater RSL: The Cosy Winter Escape Mona Vale Locals Are Booking Out

If you haven’t yet made it to Firepit Nights at Pittwater RSL, there’s good news — you’ve still got time. The popular winter event, running from The Deck at Pittwater RSL on Mona Vale Road, has sessions available today, Sunday 23 August, with the season wrapping up on 30 August.

The concept is simple but well-considered: small groups of up to six people book an exclusive two-hour session around a private firepit, complete with comfortable seating and blankets to ward off the evening chill. Two time slots are on offer today — a late-afternoon session from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and an evening session from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, with tickets priced between $5 and $20.

For those wanting to make an event of it, guests can add a marshmallow roasting pack to their booking, and the bar will be serving warm mulled wine throughout the evening — a thoughtful touch for a winter night on the Northern Beaches.

The RSL sits between Manly and Palm Beach on the Northern Beaches, and The Deck has provided the backdrop for the firepit experience across the full winter season. Whether it’s a low-key catch-up with friends, a birthday or anniversary, or simply an excuse to get out of the house on a cold evening, the format lends itself to a range of occasions.

Bookings are essential, and with the season ending next week, remaining spots are limited. Details and reservations are available through the Pittwater RSL Club directly.
