Police and emergency crews responded to a series of incidents across Mona Vale between Sunday, 24 May and Wednesday, 27 May, including multiple traffic crashes, an intoxication-related callout and a pedestrian collision involving a teenager on an e-bike.
NSW Police first received reports of a hit-and-run collision at Paul Close just after 5.45am on Sunday, 24 May. Further details about the vehicle involved have not been released.
Later that morning, just after 9.30am on Sunday, 24 May, police and Fire and Rescue NSW Mona Vale Station attended a crash at Maxwell Street where a vehicle had driven into the rear of a boat parked on the side of the road.
No injuries were reported, however firefighters used absorbent material to clean up a fluid spill caused by the collision.
Police were again called out just after 1.30pm on Sunday, 24 May, to assist an intoxicated person at Park Street, Mona Vale.
On Monday, 25 May, Fire and Rescue NSW Mona Vale Station responded to a fire alarm at commercial premises on Tengah Crescent just after 4.45pm. Firefighters found no sign of fire and determined the alarm had been activated accidentally.
A more serious incident occurred just before 3pm on Wednesday, 27 May, when NSW Police and NSW Ambulance responded to reports of a girl being hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing at Park Street.
Authorities were told the 14-year-old had been riding an e-bike across the crossing when she was struck by a Mercedes station wagon driven by an elderly man.
Paramedics treated the teenager for a leg injury before transporting her to Northern Beaches Hospital in a stable condition.
The incidents form part of a broader snapshot of recent police and emergency service activity across Mona Vale.
